The Activity Coordinator will be responsible for designing, organizing, and managing activities and events that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and personal growth for our participants. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Program Development:
- Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of activities and programs tailored to the interests and needs of the participants.
- Create engaging schedules that accommodate varied interests and skill levels.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members, volunteers, and community partners to ensure a comprehensive and diverse activity calendar.
- Foster partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
- Participant Engagement:
- Build relationships with participants to understand their interests, preferences, and feedback to improve programming.
- Promote activities through newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of program participation, feedback, and evaluations to track success and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient program delivery.
- Event Coordination:
- Organize special events, workshops, and outings, including logistics, transportation, and necessary permits.
- Ensure all events run smoothly while adhering to safety and health guidelines.
- Supervision and Training:
- Train and supervise volunteers and staff involved in the delivery of activities.
- Provide support and guidance to ensure a positive and productive environment for participants.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in activity coordination, event planning, or program management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with social media platforms.
